The first video was a good demonstration of what not to do as a teacher. It was boring, badly structured and the teacher was disinterested and unengaging. I felt sorry for the students and by observing the dreadful teaching methods, I learnt a lot about what not to do. The second video shows the same teacher speaking clearly, motivating and encouraging the students and interacting in an interesting and informative manner. I learnt a lot of positives from watching this one.This unit explains the form and usage of present tenses. Tenses are difficult to learn for English learners but present tenses are the easiest tense among those tenses. However, it may be difficult for teachers to help students clarify each form of present tenses as students might be easy to get confused. Doing more exercises could be helpful but students may get demotivated. Teachers may need to find a balanced method to help students understand the usage of these tenses.
