Lesson plans should be a brief overview which one can easily glance at to get back on track need be. There is no standard for lesson plans, as different plans work for different people. Writing down feedback after a lesson lets the teacher improve future classes by looking at what works and what doesn?t.in this section we learn about teaching new language, vocabulary and functions. We see how we can apply ESA methods to introduce new language. For example if we were to teach new vocabulary the ESA \"straight arrow\" approach can be applied by using the engage-study-activate model. we could also use the \"patchwork\" approach to teach grammar lessons, and \"boomerang\" to teach language functions. ESA is very useful for teaching new language.
