Students can be assessed for their language level through three means; tutorials, evaluation by students and tests. Tutorials are done as a form of review of all that has been done within a specific time frame. Evaluation of the course by students gives the teacher a fair idea on how things are going with respect to the language and also the needs of the students. Tests could be at the beginning, midstream or the end of a course. Tests may be placement or diagnostic, progress, practice or external.We all know that classroom management is the skill of organising and managing the class,having a friendly,relaxed manner and maintaining discipline,so classroom management is very important.From this unit,I've learned how to use eye contact,gesture and the voice,how to group students.how to do the classroom arrangement,how to write on the white board,how to give individual attention,how to balance TTT and STT,how to establish rapport,how to maintain discipline.I really learned a lot from this unit.
