This was an interesting unit. I had some difficulties with the questions based on the videos. The perspective of the students was difficult to understand in the first video. As they seemed both confused and uninterested; the quality of the video also made it difficult to fully understand what was really going on. There was a night and day difference between the first lesson and the second lesson. The teacher improved tremendously between lessons one and two. I liked how involved the class was during the second lesson and how the teacher?s mannerisms became so much more likeable.I liked this unit of the program because it actually allowed you to observe what was going on, in a real time. The teacher's agenda in both lessons really got me to experience what it would be like to observe. The teacher in the second lesson showed me good ideas of how to effectively preform a lesson plan, one that actually activates student's and get them interested in the English language. The first teacher was effective because it shows you that if you aren't willing to listen to your students, and focus your attention on them first, you won't have a fruitful classroom or lesson.
