Unit 5 was very useful for showing us how to manage class rooms. Class rooms can be difficult to manage depending on the age and motivation of the students, It seems like having more mature students will make managing the class room a little easier as they would be more motivated to learn since they are in English classes by choice. With younger students, the classroom will be more dynamic so it will be more important to me as a teacher to manage the classroom to ensure that the students have a proper learning environment. The unit was helpful is demonstrating at what points and to what degree we should be manage the classroom. In each class, there will be times where the students will have to be managed more closely and other times where the class can be a relaxed area for learning where kids can be kids. I believe that mastering classroom management is one of the best ways to become a good teacher because if you manage the class correctly, you will keep the students engaged and open to learning.
