In this unit, most common future tenses were taught. These are the future simple, the future continuous, the future perfect, the future perfect continuous, going to future, the present simple in future, the present continuous in future.The forms and usages of these tenses were described with examples.Some of the typical student mistakes and errors were also mentioned. I have learnt that in order to identify the tense we must focus on the sentence structure than the usage.In this unit, I learned about the various techniques used in teaching English (especially the ESA technique). I learned that each teaching session must incorporate all three components of ESA: Engage, Study and Activate. This unit is very useful for me, as much of the information provided here is new for me. I learned about the various techniques that I can use to engage my students and motivate them to learn, how and when to correct my students, how to give feedback, etc.
