This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
I found that by watching these lessons, it helped with ideas for the engagement process in my lesson, as well as how to use each stage of a lesson in an engaging manner. The first lesson was uncomfortable to watch, and I found myself thinking, 'stop telling your students that it's easy!' It was a good demonstration in regards to what a bad lesson would look like! The second lesson I found very useful, but like a question above asked - I would have shown what the word looks like without the apostrophe. It was engaging, and used effective and smooth lesson transitions between each stage.I learned how to form many future tenses such as the Future Perfect Continuous to name one. I do not normally use the Future Perfect Continuous in my every day language so it was new for me. I also didn't know that there were so many different tenses and usages .In the case of the future simple I learned that you can use it when making promises .The future continuous for polite enquiries referring to other peoples plans ,but not to influence the listener's intentions. I honestly never thought about using one instead of another and now I know the reasons behind using each one and why.
