This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit about Evaluation and Testing was interesting. It was a concise and clear insight to the various types of tests and exams that students may go through. I learned about the differences between test types, and when to give them to students. For instance, the difference between placement and progress tests, mentioned in the unit, could prove valuable to me in the future. It was also interesting to read about the different types of external examinations. This unit is talks about the future tense and the different ways it can be used. Honestly I just don't that much about the types of future tenses and probably going to heavily rely on activities to teach it in my classroom. I think the future tense is difficult because it is something that becomes natural only after long term use of the English language. Hopefully I can use the exercises in this chapter or some other online research to teach the future tense.
