This unit has given me a good understanding of Present tenses. I have learnt abut the form and usages with examples of the four present tenses; the present simple, present continuous, present perfect and the present perfect continuous. I have also learnt how to implement activity based lesson plan like role play, group discussion, guessing and mime playing. This unit also gave the importance of how to maximize the student talk time during the lesson.This unit was very challenging a lot of attention was needed. I thought pronunciation was not a big challenging but this unit made me realise how challenging it can be to teach. This unit was very important as it gives the detail of how to teach the topic. It identified most challenges that one might face and a way of addressing the challenges. It also gives ways of teaching the pronunciation of words. They were a lot of new things that I learnt too.
