There is no doubt that the lesson plan plays a vital role in maintaining lesson quality and guiding lesson sequence, especially for a new ESL teacher. In the sample plan, each item from the name of the teacher to the solutions to teacher's anticipated problems is clearly written. I have found that the content of the procedure is really help as I would like to refer to the activities to help me ensure I will accomplish the goals for the lesson.The information in this Unit allowed me to delve deeper into the understanding of teaching. A good teacher has to have all these resources available to them; however, the students typically don't realize how much planning and understanding goes into a teacher performing an effective lesson. I learned a lot about how to best get your students to speak the language and listen, and games that can be associated with that as a fun means to keep the students interested in the material, as well as want to continue learning English.
