Just this starting unit, i now understand why so many schools require teachers with a TEFL Certificate.I have really appreciated the material in this unit 1, because it’s talks about how to be a good teacher and and the role of a teacher!.To be frank,i didn’t know how much it takes to be teacher especially to be a good teacher but now i know . I really liked the good explanation on qualities such as kind and patient, because when you teaching,you are dealing with learners from different background and different learning abilities , the other quality i loved is that the teacher should have good knowledge of subject he/ she is teaching, because knowledge means having information, understanding or or to be skillful, so if a teacher doesn’t have understing, have no skill how can he/she educate learners?,of course they will be some problems here and there.
