This units information on classroom management is critical for teaching anything. How the teacher presents themselves will effect how the student responds. I remember having teachers in high school who were smart and knew the subject in which they taught, but their attitude and demeanor was off putting. Arranging the classroom in different ways will help with different activities. I enjoyed this aspect of different classes because it was always something new and not monotonous. Good instructions are also important so that there is no misunderstanding when a task is being given. Maintaining discipline is also critical for the learning environment. I remember times where a classmate had to leave or get escorted out of the room, it made for a big distraction and hard to get focused back on the lesson. In all, this is something I feel that anyone teaching any group of people need to know as it sets the atmosphere for the learning environment, the better the environment means that more learning and understanding can be achieved.
