This unit has provided a refresher to my education diploma I have received. It provides an overview of key aspects that will help build the rapport between the teacher and the class. Further to this, it provides aspects on how to improve and maintain discipline and where possible deal with issues when they arise. It provides an overview of TTT VS STT, and how this can be both valuable and detrimental to the learning process of students. Moreover, it provides an overview of classroom organization, aspects to use gestures as ways to make for a conducive learning environment in the class.This unit was quite long and difficult, but very important. It is good to see many of the aspects of pronunciation shown in such a well structured and detailed way. In my experiences travelling and talking to native and non native speakers alike, pronunciation is often the cause of many misunderstandings and problems in communication. I think it's very helpful to have a good, and structured way to teach certain important aspects, and stress the fact that it is really okay to exaggerate in this regard since learning it properly will make communication so much easier, and more effective.
