This unit discusses about teaching English in different kinds of classes, such as teaching one-on-one, children, beginners, and business classes. I myself have anxiety whenever I am asked to teach one-on-one and beginners. The former is due to the fact that I am quite introverted and I prefer to speak to the whole class, so I oftentimes avoid one-on-one classes. The latter deals with the challenges to teach English without using L1 and EFL jargon. More practice is what all I need in order for me to be more flexible in teaching different groups of students.I learned how much of an effect the way you come into the class can have, for starters. He came in smiling and upbeat in the second lesson and I noticed a huge difference in the class. He did not turn to the board as much and had visual aids in the second video, which helped out with confusion and interest. He was also way clearer and less rushed in the second video, and the students understood better and were more engaged. I learned that all of these things make such a difference to the learner and I clearly saw what not to do by watching the first video.
