In this study section, we are introduced with more specific method of language teaching, including new words, grammar, sentence structure, etc. Being as teachers, we have to know, how to teach new knowledge point to students, what aspects should be told to students and what are not necessarily have to be embedded in their learning. And for different knowledge, various of activities/games are recommended for each of engage, study and activate stages, and teachers are able to refer to their teaching.This unit has made me aware of mistakes I have made in the last two months as a new teacher. This unit has taught me how to cope with students that finish tasks quickly. Six year old students find it hard to sit still and wait for more than ten seconds. I wasn't sure before whether I could give them other things to do. Little kids tend to be competitive and don't like seeing one being treated differently. I also struggle with arranging the students into pairs or smaller groups. I will give it a go.
