I have learnt that the attitude of a teacher can seriously affects the outcome of the lesson. Always trying to show a positive attitude will be more effective in getting the students interest in the topic. Following the engage, study and activate phases of a lesson plan is also imperative to the effectiveness. No stages should be skipped as this will form a weak link in the chain. If what you want is not effectively communicated to students there will be chaos and all learning objectives will not be met.Out of all language skills, writing is the only one that is left out. In classes (except class that focuses on the writing specifically), the curricula oftentimes only focus on speaking, listening, and (occasionally) reading. I have encountered many students who do not know how to even build a single sentence and paragraph, let alone an essay. Just because speaking and listening are deemed more important to communicate with other people does not mean that writing needs to be left out (almost) completely.
