It also can provide a good reference for yourself in the future and also for other teachers if you are off sick.Many different teaching aids are used to make lessons more interesting and are a very effective means of teaching. Personally, I find that these aids tend to assist in memory retention, more so than just being taught. Association is used to recall what is learnt. With the technology, available today, the options are endless, from being creative on a plain old fashioned white board to videos on YouTube. Teaching becomes even more exciting in the presentation and use of aids as it allows the teacher to be creative.
