This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In unit 17 Equipment and Teaching Aids, i have learned of the common resources, tools, and available sources for students and teachers alike to use inside and outside the classroom. Most commonly, these tools were either present in the classroom as some sort of board (white board, board, overheard projector, etc.) , visual aids, audio or video equipments (cameras, DVDs, recorders, etc. ) and different kinds of books (dictionary, course book, resource book, etc.). Lastly accompanying our options were things such as computers and copiers. All these tools available are of aid to the teacher and it seems that the more technologically advanced, the better it is in retaining the attention of the students, assisting them in learning language or understanding it, and completing / creating projects for related to English inside or out of the classroom. Things involving video are more readily available to students with the introduction of smartphones, whilch also allows for easy access to online resources and dictionaries for future use.
