This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 8 was on the subject of future tenses. The future simple tenses are used with future facts and certainties, promises, predictions, assumptions, and so on. Future continuous tenses are for future events which are decided, when something will be in progress at a certain time, and polite questions about someone's plans. The future perfect tense is used when describing an action will be done or completed by a certain time in the future. Next, is the future perfect continuous tense. This one explains how long an action will have continued by a certain point in the future. The be going + infinitive, also known as the \"going to\" future tense is used with intentions, plans made before speaking, and predictions which are based on events happening currently. And finally, the last two are the present simple and present continuous as they also apply to the future tense. Before this unit I had forgotten most of the names for the future tenses, or that they were different from each other. The unit was very thorough in explaining them.
