This unit covers one of the most important topics related to teaching English to students of other languages: pronunciation. This matter causes even speakers of other European languages to struggle, not to mention people speaking oriental, middle eastern or Slavic languages. That is why the information this module provides is of utmost importance and will help me tremendously in my future teaching career. Analyzing and structuring all aspects pronunciation and teaching it is something that will ensure a high standard of education I provide on this subject.This unit allows to navy teachers to understand what are the factors of selecting a course book we need to have in mind. Also what kind of materials exit ( authentic and created) and when to use them depending of our purposes. In order to promote a good environment of learning we need to consider the advantages and disadvantages of having a course book and to not limit our lessons in following what the book suggests. Therefore, we as a EFL teachers need to balance not only the kind of materials but also the course book with our own activities, values, etc.
