In this unit I've learnt about Modals, passive voice and phrasal verbs. In terms of modals, the chart containing all the modals and their uses was very helpful in understanding the differences. It was a very clear overview and easy to understand.
I think that changing sentences from active to passive voice was very helpful in understanding that.
Furthermore, it was very good for me to get some more practice in with phrasal verbs. I've learnt the differences between all of them and how to recognize those differences.This Unit focused on the different tenses and when its appropriate to use each tense:
The different in tenses are quite intriguing, but can also be quite difficult to fully understand. Because of the large amount of tenses people might use the wrong tense without even knowing that the mistake is being made.That is why there are rules and guidelines in place so that both student and teacher, are aware of these easily made mistakes. But that also means that one must know and understand and these rules and guidelines.
