This was not as helpful as the previous units. It shows the importance of taking tests but these tests are more based on whether the teacher is under an institution or teaches privately. Although there are many different types of tests the unit provides, I still find it confusing as to why the unit covered examinations and Cambridge assessments. I didn't really see the relevance to the unit. I also wonder now how this online course is compared to Cambridge. Will other schools and institutions recognize this certificate if I pass.This unit presented two examples of a video-taped lesson in which the teacher was not effective in the first while being markedly more effective in the second. The useful aspect of this lesson that does not come through as well in lessons as read from a page is the real-life reactions of students that result from the conduct of the teacher. Through this it is clear to see how students may feel when presented with instruction that is not effective versus instruction that is more engaging, inspiring, and encourages active participation.
