In this unit, we learned about the different types of tests and ways you can check student's current english comprehension levels. At the beginning of the semester, it is important to check at what levels your students are by doing a diagnostic test. It is then important to have practice tests through out the class time to make sure that the students are understanding and retaining the information that they are learning. Some examples would be fill in the blanks, answering questions, or doing verbal tests by asking questions.Three are four present tenses. Present Simple is most likely the most common tense used in English and uses the base firm of the verb. Present Continuous describes actions currently taking place or in progress, uses a form of the verb be as a helping verb, and adds -ing to the main verb. Present Perfect has a name that makes no sense, uses the helping verb have/has, and the past participle version of the main verb. Present Perfect Continuous uses both the be (been) and have have/has helping verbs, and adds -ing to the main verb.
