Unit 18 - Modals, Phrasal verbs, passive voice. In this chapter, the names or the tile of the topic might look something new to me, however, this is not something new as I read through the whole unit again. I have been using this Modals, phrasal verbs most of the time just that we don't realised that there is a name for each of them. Some of the example of phrasal verbs that I can think off is 1) call off- cancelled
2) bring it on- take up the challenge.Listening and reading are the receptive skills. The students passively receive and process the information through these skills. We learn more when we are personally involved in the topic, and when we are able to use our personal knowledge of the world in lesson. We learn best that which is personally relevant to us. Students need to be engaged with what they are reading or listening and encouraged to respond to the content of reading or listening text.
