In general, it's important to understand the characteristics and needs of each learning group. Teach the lessons with the sources available previously checked and see the progress through time. If teaching English for business purposes, consider reviewing the client's purposes to create classes that suits them the best. Most important, no matter if teaching at an English school or 1-1, positive attitude and enthusiasm is key in order for students to be encouraged and learn.This was an interesting unit. I learned about the different ways of assessing a new student, of checking the progress of students and the testing available to become certified. This unit was helpful understanding the various terminology around examinations. The placement test was the most interesting portion of the unit as I learned that the different sections can give more information then just what the student knows. Information like motivation, interests and fluency.
