The focus of this unit was the present tense. I liked that the example sentences were simple and that ideas for the activate stage of the lesson were given. The corresponding video for this unit was very helpful for me because it was easy to follow. I'm not sure why, but I felt a little overwhelmed by the information and charts the first time I read this unit. The video and examples of common student mistakes were the most helpful in this unit for me.In this unit we learned how to plan a lesson and the various points we need to consider while planning it. Things like timing, learner objectives, personal aim,interaction,class level Amsterdam language point are very important and must be taken into consideration while planning a lesson. Flexibility is also a must. We must be very flexible,especially as inexperienced teachers,as we don't know how long it might take the students to finish an acfivity..
