This unit was full of technical information about the english language. It again was particularly interesting because as a native speaker i normally don't pay much attention due the differences in verbs forms within one tense. However when learning another language there is much focus on electing and understanding the uses of each verb form. It was also helpful to understand where many errors for english learners occur so that I can think of corrective actions in the future.In this unit, we were introduced to conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are sentences containing if/when and refer to past, present and future possibilities. The several forms include zero, first, second, third and mixed. I also learned about direct speech (actual speech) and how to correctly change the tenses, pronouns and time to correctly report the speech. This unit built on all of the previous units and incorporated all of the tenses that we have learned.
