In this unit present tenses were examined. Due to sharp distinction of the tense system of the English language from other languages, it is probably one of the most problematic parts for students to understand, learn and use. If most languages have two or three tenses, in English we have twelve ? three main ? present, past and future, and each of them has four aspects. In this unit we went through the rules of formation, usage and typical students errors. Now we know how to present the tenses to the students and what kind of activities are suitable for each of the tenses.This unit discussed the methodology of teaching EFL. It described some great ways to engage the students as well as ways to get them to explore and have fun with the language while making sure the information can be retained. I learned that there are several different ways to make learning English fun and stimulating. I also learned when it is appropriate to correct a student and how to do so. furthermore, it is very important to pay attention and predict possible problems students are having with the language and to listen to student feedback to ensure lessons are successful.
