Although most of the grammar in this unit exceeds what is formally learned at my workplace, it helps to understand these structures in order to encourage students to continue their studies. Passive voice is the only concept within this unit that is included in the textbook and curriculum, so I would like to use the ideas thought of in the task sheet and develop them so that students can use it with confidence and feel empowered to tackle the rest.From unit 12 I've learnt how to teach productive skills, speaking and writing. Though they are both aimed at communication, teachers use different approaches to get students communicate successfully. There are also different kinds of activities: controlled ones are focused on accuracy, whereas creative communication are fluency-based tasks. To make student get the most of communicative task, a good teacher combines all the stages of an ESA lesson.
