This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit though small yes, was troublesome, particularly in regards to questions 10-15. This is because I was unable to find any lesson plan, so the questions in relation to them would have been more easily looked through if this plan had been provided.
Obviously the questions are about the straight arrow ESA, but more information can never really hurt and again would help me to better understand the system.
Overall I didn't enjoy this unit at all.The different methods at the beginning of the unit got me thinking about how I was taught and how effective or not that was on me when I was learning. Every method has its place. One point that came across very clearly is the fact that even if a student makes a mistake at least they are trying. The way you correct them will influence their involvement in the class in future lessons. Learning must be fun and there is more than one way to skin a cat.
