This section covered the importance of choosing material to be read and taught during class that suits the needs of students. I enjoy writing, so I am looking forward to using the lessons in this module and creating some interesting activities and reading materials for my students. I will also take the different kinds of reading into account and perhaps it would be beneficial to teach those to my students so that they can have a better idea about how they read and what I expect from them during a specific assignment.This unit was very helpful to me because I have never taught in a classroom before and really had no idea how to go about it thus far. I felt that I learned many helpful tips such as basic seating and how helpful some are while others are not so much. I really like the idea of the horseshoe seating and having an intimate class where we all know each other and feel very comfortable. Also the part regarding discipline was very helpful. I like the reminder to never raise your voice or show that you are upset, very true.
