The unit gave some vision on how the class can be better organised and how to create a learning atmosphere in the classroom. I found the part about problematic behaviour quite useful since it gives some understanding about the reasons for such behaviour thus makes it easier to eliminate the problems. There is a clear thought that talking time in the class should be shared between student and teacher and the instructions of how it can be done in the most effective way.This unit was very comprehensive and took quite a bit of time to absorb. I enjoyed the ideas for the activate phase such as role plays, surveys and story building as well as the tips on giving feedback. I did find the engage, activate study section a bit confusing at times, although I believe I am already employing a lot of it already. I never realized there is a difference between an error and a mistake. That is something I will be on the lookout for in the future.
