This unit covers the different types of learners and teachers, levels and general attitude of different age groups towards learning. I believe I have learnt more about how different age groups interact and learn, for example children are better learners visually, more motivated and concentrated when there is games, songs, drawing etc and tend to be more shy and less involved in class activities that recquire speaking and conversations. Adult learners tend to be more motivated but may reach a point where they feel like they cannot advance therefore more encouragement is needed for them to try exceed their levels of learning. Also in this unit I have learnt more precisely the different roles a teacher must adopt, not always being the manager and letting the students direct the activities without being too involved and always correcting them or giving them the answers. Sometimes it is better to give an example and allow them to direct the rest. A teacher must foremost be interested in their students and what they learn not just teaching.
