This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 17 was about equipment and teaching aids. I liked how this unit discussed many different types of equipment in the classrooms and the pros and cons of each. I also liked all the teaching aids they provided in this lesson. The unit says that video and voice recordings are a good way for students to learn but I think that it can make some students insecure. Maybe if I had each student privately record and listen it would be useful, but not as a whole class. In this unit, lesson planning is explained. What i realize from this lesson is that lesson planning is very important for a teacher and the students, but a teacher must be very careful not to be tangled by it and try to keep it simple and with a natural flow. Maybe in the beginning of a teaching career is something that you strongly rely on it but as years passes, using your experience can gradually reduce the usage of it but still have a plan for the lesson.
