This unit touches on the different types of placement tests used and available and the effectiveness of different types of evaluations. To prepare a test myself I would need to refer to one already created, due to inexperience in creating these tests. Personally, I would give a weekly test and 3 major tests in a term. This would get students to study on a regular basis while also providing constant information regarding the levels of individual students.This unit has given me a basic knowledge on grammar and some of the most common areas that likely as a teacher, I will be using and / or teaching more often. The unit not only explains the form of structure of a basic sentence, but also focuses on eight basic sentence components, such as nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, prepositions and conjunctions, enunciating their meanings and forms and how they're positioned within the sentence.
