From the Teaching Special Groups Unit I have learnt important information about teaching beginners and the three categories of the beginners, the methodologies and the techniques used, the possible problems a teacher could meet while teaching beginners and how to motivate the beginners to learn a foreign language. I have also learnt about teaching individual students, the suitable activities for teaching them, the importance of giving home assignments when teaching individual students, the importance of checking the materials before using it, teaching young learners and the activities that should be used, what to expect when teaching young learners, important do's and don'ts during the lesson when teaching young learners and how to manage the classroom and have the expected discipline when teaching young learners. I have also learnt about the ways of teaching English for specific purposes, the characteristics of teaching business English and its clients, the needs of the business English learners and the needs analysis and its importance.
