Past tenses are easy to master once a good knowledge of the forms have been fully understood. Helping the students with real live activities will help deepen their momories of how to use thr past tenses in their correct forms in sentences. When errors are made by the students another take on the correction will help in getting familiar with the correction. Practice of the forms of past tense in sentences and class activities i have learnt will brighten up the level of familiarity.This unit taught me the difference between past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. I feel that these are important tenses when teaching and speaking English because they can change the entire meaning of the sentence. While I feel past tense is easier to identify and teach than present tense I think that for a non native speaker it can still be confusing so as a teacher it is my responsibility to continue to study and practice teaching al the tenses.
