This unit explains how to teach vocabulary, grammar and function to students. It said it is useful to apply ESA methods to introduce new language. To teach and select vocabulary, we need to consider appropriacy to the students and to the task, and teachability. Also I need to teach them what they need to know about it; meaning, how to use, where it belongs etc. in addition to it instruct techniques for vocabulary teaching using ESA methods. I’d like to use the ESA methods to introduce grammatical structures as this unit said. there are some kinds of examples; in engaging discussion, scenario building, prompting etc. in studying intonation and pronunciation patterns, information gaps and sentence building etc. in activating communication game, role-play, story building etc. I am interested in typical ESA grammar lesson, story building which is about that one start creating chain story and next continues. I thought this activity will be helpful to correct usage of grammar. ESA Boomerang type lesson would be used to teach language functions
