In this unit I had learned the different methods on teaching students. What is needed to be done to keep children active and learning in the classroom. Also this unit explained how much a teacher should focus on discuss and then how much to focus on activities with the class. Being an active teacher with the class I believe is a good method, making children interact with things or in discussions should help them remember the things they are learning faster.I learned about the 5 conditional forms (zero, first, second, third and mixed) which was new to me for a study point. I use them but had never really examined them in detail. It shows me that it is a difficult area and should be taught carefully. I also learned about the reported speech, another area I hadn't really examined or studied. It is also an area I could see difficult to teach and should be taken slowly as it is easy to confuse the different forms.
