This unit covers the topic of evaluating and testing the students' levels and progress while learning English. This unit explains the different types of tests, such as placement tests which enable the teacher to place the student into the suitable class, progress tests to periodically check what language has been remembered and what has been forgotten, or practice tests which are similar to the external examination the students are studying for. Examples for the different external examinations are given at the end of the chapter.Difficult unit for a not native speaker as I am, but this may be the part I have got the most as I have put more effort in studying it. For a non native speaker the English accent could be a real challenge. English is one of the most spoken language in the world and the British accent is very different from the American, Australian, Southern African and so on, that's why a student in the beginning of the learning process could often be confused (better, beder, etc), but the lesson was clear and it can be easily applied to a class
