This unit was about lesson planning. It teaches that lesson planning is important to have a working document, have an aid in planning, and a record of what was taught. It also includes the importance of self evaluation after the lesson. I understand it's important to plan well and be sure to have exercises for each phase of the lesson and also estimate the amount of time each stage will require. I can see the importance of the self evaluation in order to continue to improve as a teacher.In my opinion, course books are very important part of English learning. There are thousands of them, so it's very convenient for the teacher to choose the book suitable for the students. However, the teacher has to create his/her own materials to either supplement the course book or replace sections that are not suitable for the class. There are two groups of materials: authentic and created materials. Course books are very useful but don't forget about being creative during the lesson.
