This unit covered how the pronunciation and phonology of the English language. This lesson taught me how emphasis on syllables and words can give them more meaning or slightly alter the intended purpose of the word or sentence that is spoken. This unit covered different activities I can use to help teach students the proper pronunciation of different words. It also informed me of the different way your mouth is used when pronouncing vocabulary. In addition, this unit taught me the importance of the phonemic alphabet.Teaching EFL for special group requires the knowledge of methodology and technique that appropriate to teach each group. The preparation to teach children are different from teaching adult beginners. Each group has different needs and expectations; therefore, teacher has to understand students' needs and psychology in order to be an effective teacher. It's helpful to have business knowledge to teach business English; however, it's not require to know every detail of certain industry or business that students are in.
