This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was based on the topic of future tenses. Future tenses can be quite confusing. Once students begin learning the functions of each tense, they could rightfully feel lost at first. A possible reason for their initial confusion would be that many students may be unaware of when to use which tense. As foreign speakers of English, many often use the Future Simple tense, without acknowledging the other future tenses even after studing them because it's what they know and are comfortable with. This Unit has been the most informational, the most challenging, and the most interesting, of all of the course Units I have encountered thus far. The practical aspects to be considered in developing a syllabus that will address the actual needs of the target class are of immeasurable value. As always, the clear definition of terms is welcome. The inclusion of outside links for further study and research is appreciated. i have copied these links to my outside reference material for future use.
