This unit talks about teaching equipment and aids. After reading through the content, I learnt about the basic principles of board usage such as adjust the size of the writing to the board size and make sure it can be clearly read and seen from the back of the class and avoid unnecessary capitalization and etc. Also I learnt the advantage of the overhead projector and the disadvantage of it. Teachers should make sure that it is well settled before class starts and always has a backup plan because none digital equipment can be always reliable and it might stop working at the most awkward moment. For visual aids it can be quite useful especially for young kids educations since it is more effectively and quickly to illustrate the meaning of the word and more easily to attract young students attention in class.Worksheet and word cards can be used for study stage and video camera using can help students to analyze and discuss about their performance even out of the class which can be much entertainment and encourage students to speak more in English.
