Unit 15 was about Evaluation and Testing. This unit reviewed different ways to assess a students language level; Tutorials, Evaluations by the Student and Tests. Tutorials are basically a chat with students about how they perceive they are progressing in the course and then how you feel they are doing in the course. It's a good time for students to ask questions and teachers to provide advice to students on an individual level. Usually done one on one tutoring can be done in a group setting. Evaluations by the Student are basically a chance for students to give the teacher feedback on if the course is providing the expected information, if the student feels a balance in skills is being taught and what the difficulty of the class is for them hard, easy, good. Finally the most widely used form of assessment : Tests. There are many tests, though the Cambridge Assessment is the \"leading range\" of english learning certificate organizations, also worth mentioning are ;TOEFL, IELTS, and TOEIC. Each organization offering a grand variety of categories of English learning examinations.
