The unit is managing the class from the perspective of the class size, arrangement, teacher positioning, and group participation. Larger classes may have to be in rows, while horseshoe shape classroom provide a more intimate environment. Also, the position of the teacher is very important. If the teacher is standing for instruction, but sitting down when the students are reading is more ideal. There is the TTT teacher talk time and STT student talk time. In TTT it is best to keep it simple, and consistent. Also the teacher needs to provide discipline but not be argumentative. The instructor must be in control but not over controlling. At times a teacher will need to change the course room dynamic in order to create a more fluid student positive environment.
