It is important for a teacher who is new to a school/classroom to build rapport with her students to begin to build a comfortable, safe environment for them. Students progress farther faster when they are engaged in the learning process. Speaking, listening, writing, and reading are all hands-on activities and the teacher should encourage her students in all of these areas in an entertaining and educational way. It is up to the student to actually speak. The teacher will hopefully find exciting ways for their students to practice this skill most often, while not neglecting the other skills.From the lesson I have learnt it is not easy to manage a classroom as students have various characteristics and different language abilities. The most important thing when managing a class is to make a friendly learning environment, amicable rapports amongst students. Good students can help weak students learn, sometimes more effective with the help of teacher if they found common points in on another. And managing class skills only be accumulated after years of experience. Furthermore, the teacher should need a warm heart and patient mind which is needed for every good teachers. Thank you.
