Lesson planning has been useful to me in many of the ways mentions in the chapter. It?s true that teachers must find a balance between writing too little and too much into the plans. There should be a certain amount of flexibility built into the plans. I think it will be useful for me to distinguish the different parts of the lesson using the concepts ?engage?, ?study? and ?activate? mentioned in chapter 2. In this way, students are exposed to a certain vocabulary of grammar point in three different ways. I think when using this method, students stand a better chance of retaining the information.
