As a teacher, the attitude you come into class with will have a profound effect on the success of the lesson. A teacher should therefore be able to build rapport with his/her students so as to arouse the students' interest and get them involved in the lesson. This will make the lesson more stimulating and fun, thus reducing inhibitions and leading to a more conducive learning environment. Giving examples to tasks to be done gives the students an idea of what is expected of them at the end of the activity. Monitoring of the students' should be done without intruding or stopping the flow of the activity. Monitoring should be done at the start of the activity to check they have understood, and again halfway through to check on progress and pace. The second video shows a well-structured and planned ESA lesson which was very appropriate and well delivered.
