Unit 9: In Unit 9 I learned about Lesson Planning. There are many uses and reasons for a teacher to fill out a lesson plan. While a lesson plan should be used as a guide during teaching, it should Never be used as a strict immovable script. The lesson plan not only outlines the learning objectives for the students, but describes the personal goals of the teacher as well. Planning ahead of each class can make sure the teacher is balancing the learning skills and not making use of just one or two. Also, it lets teacher know if they need to prepare the use of teaching aids beforehand, instead of on the spot. With proper planning, a teacher can use a lesson plan to stay on track and maintain a smoothness to the daily lesson.
